Charity Cup 1st round v Young Munster RFC.

As is customary, our season kicked off with a 1st round tie,in the Charity Cup, versus Young Munster RFC, in Annacotty, yesterday,Sat 30 Aug '14.

Struggling in the set pieces early on, with their big, physical team,Young Munster looked likely to dominate this encounter, but our general defence was very good, and we held out, only just at times. Midway through the first half, we gained some possession, and worked our way down YM line. The ball was moved left, and Mossie Lawler dived over, after good work from  Shane Airey. Scrumhalf Joe Murray converted.Score 7-0.
